IMFT offers personalized, flexible therapy with a focus on convenience and strong therapeutic relationships. With a smaller caseload, we provide individualized attention, flexible scheduling, multiple ways to communicate, and in-person or virtual sessions that fit your needs.
At our practice, we believe in creating a space where every individual feels accepted and valued, regardless of their background or experiences. We are committed to fostering an environment of non-judgment, where clients can explore their behaviors, thoughts and emotions openly. Our goal is to help de-stigmatize the process of seeking therapy, so that more people feel empowered to prioritize their mental and emotional well-being. We encourage growth, healing, and transformation by supporting each person’s unique journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

We're enthusiastic about this work and helping people make changes that matter. We hope you find the information about our practice helpful in choosing a clinician to walk with you toward that change.
Individual therapy is designed to help reduce the impact of distressing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We begin with an initial assessment to understand your goals, strengths, and any barriers you may be facing. From there, we take a biopsychosocial approach and draw from various approaches - such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and others - to create a plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
The process of couples therapy begins with an assessment conducted both together as a couple and individually, allowing us to develop clear, specific treatment goals. The overall aim of therapy is to identify the relational patterns that maintain your concerns and to help you restructure those patterns in ways that support a healthier, more sustainable relationship. This approach is informed by the work of Sue Johnson and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), as well as the Gottman Method developed by John Gottman and Julie Gottman.
