Chris Rodriguez moved to North Carolina from Texas to pursue post-graduate training upon completing his Master of Arts in Family Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University. At Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, he completed licensure requirements in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine in 1997 and 4 years later his training to become an Approved Supervisor by the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Over the span of his career, Chris has worked in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings including Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, High Point Regional Health, Family Services, W-S, NC, and Associates in Christian Counseling. He has also served as a lecturer and faculty at Appalachian State University, Gardner-Webb University, Wake Forest University and currently is a didactic clinical instructor and clinical supervisor to resident Psychiatrists at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He has maintained a Private Practice since 2011.
In his spare time, he is an avid sports fan, enjoys the outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends at home or while vacationing.
