Christina is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A). Christina has been a licensed counselor since August of 2024.
Prior to joining Integrated Marriage & Family Therapy, Christina completed a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNCG and internship at Family Services of Forsyth County. Her clinical work is informed by Family Systems Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and a Wellness framework.
Her clinical interest include working with individuals, couples and student athletes. Sports performance, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues and stress management are highlights of her treatment focus. Her practice is under the direct supervision of Jessica Hatton, MA LCMHC-S.
She believes individuals are resourceful and resilient and seeks to partner with clients to identify and cultivate their strengths to improve their overall quality of life. This is accomplished in part by examining how client's biological, psychological, social, and cultural systems inform their worldview and response to stressors.
